PPS enrollment is on the rise and projected to grow by another 5,000 students - to 53,000 - by 2025. Combined with consistently strong local support and a reviving economy, this means more revenue and a chance to rebuild programs and begin right-sizing schools to have:

Enough classrooms and students to offer a full academic program with reasonable class sizes at all grade levels without relying on temporary grants and parent fundraising. The full academic program includes enrichments and learning supports so that all students can excel.

Now PPS and a community-led advisory committee are collaborating on proposals to manage growth and support learning, such as moving boundaries, changing grade configurations, expanding existing schools and reopening schools that were closed.
